- So, what is dropshipping?
- Dropshipping means that you can sell products without actually having to buy them first. You sell our products by whatever means. When you get a sale you can then purchase the product from us, give us your customer's address and we will do the rest!
- How do I sign up and use your site?
- You can sign up for a FREE trial account by clicking here. The trial account will give you full access for 24 hours so you can check out our site and our dropship prices. The prices you see without logging in are RRP. After 24 hours, your account will be downgraded and you will only have access to RRP prices. If you wish to continue using our service you can purchase lifetime membership here. This gives you lifetime access to our dropship prices, dropship services and support. Once you have purchased the lifetime membership you can then sell our products at your own prices. When a customer buys from you, simply log in and purchase that item from us. When you checkout, you will have the opportunity to choose the shipping address. Change the shipping address to your customer's address and proceed to pay for the item. We will then package and ship your item as soon as possible. Don't worry we won't include any information linking the product to our site - it will be sent 'white label'.
- Where are the dropship prices?
- The prices you see on the site when you are not logged in or when your trial period has expired are Recommended Retail Price. These are the prices you should be aiming to sell our products for. During your trial period and when you have purchased the lifetime membership, you will see the dropship prices (where it says 'as low as').
- Do I have to be a company or be VAT registered to sign up?
- Nope. Anyone can sign up. All we ask is that you are committed to your new dropshipping venture with us and that you are extremely nice to us at all times. The second part is optional but will get you further when you want something.
- Where and how can I sell your products?
- You can sell our products practically anywhere. eBay is a good start. Your own site would be better but you can even sell our products to your friends and family if you want. The only limit is your imagination! We will be adding some nifty tutorials on selling products soon to help you on your way. You have full permission to use the product details from our site for your product listings. You may also use the product images form our site to promote your products. Simply click on the image you want, right click and choose save picture.
- How much should I sell your products for?
- You set your own prices. The price at the top of each product listing is the RRP. This is the price you should be aiming to sell for, but you can alter this to compete if necessary.
- Why is there a fee to join?
- There are a few of answers to this. 1. It shows us you are committed to selling our products. 2. It helps us keep our prices down by incorporating some of the running costs in the membership fee. 3. It stops retail customers purchasing from our site, we are a business to business only site.
- Do you sell these products anywhere else?
- No. This is a business to business only site and we are a business to business company. We only sell to our dropship members. We do not have another retail site and we don't sell on eBay.
- Shipping & Delivery
- We use Royal Mail for most of our shipping, with larger items shipped by courier. Our shipping prices can be calculated in the shopping cart after adding an item. All prices are calculated on weight with a very small amount added for packaging costs. We have added multiple shipping methods so you can either give your customer the option, or you can choose the method you think appropriate for the product. We currently ship to the UK and EU and prices vary accordingly. We are not liable for an item once it has been shipped. We keep proof of postage for all items and offer trackable and insured shipping services. If an item is received by the customer but is damaged, please see our 'Returns and Replacements' policy below.
- Privacy & Security
- We take your privacy and security very seriously at dropship.VeryGeek.co.uk. We will never ever use your information for any other means but to contact you if necessary about your account, or to send you the latest newsletter about our own site. The newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom - however we will be bringing you news of updates, new products and special offers from time to time so please only unsubscribe if you do not wish to receive this information. All payments are currently processed via a secure encrypted external site (Paypal or Google Checkout), we therefore do not hold any of your bank/card details. We will never ever ask you for your password. This should be unique to yourself and should not be shared with anyone for your own security.
- Returns & Replacements
- All products come with a manufacturer's warranty of at least a year. If a customer has a problem with an item, please let us know and we will do our best to help. If an item is damaged on delivery you must let us know within 7 days of the date the item is received by the customer via email and we will arrange a refund or replacement upon receipt of the damaged goods with the shipping paid by the customer. This is a trade website and as such our returns policy is not the same as retail. However, this does not mean we won't do our best to help you with any problems.
- Payment & Pricing
- Payment can be made by Paypal or Google Checkout (to be added soon). We do not charge for using these services. By purchasing, you agree not to file a chargeback once we have dispatched the item to your customer. If a chargeback is initiated, you will be liable to a £150 charge plus the original cost of the item or the cost associated with retrieving said item.
- Viewing Orders
- To view any order you have made simply click on the 'My Account' link which can be found at the top of every page. Log in if you haven't done so already and your recent orders will be shown at the top of the account homepage. you can view all order by clicking on the 'Your Orders' link on the right hand side of your account homepage.
- Updating Account Information
- You can update your information at any time. Simply click on the 'My Account' link which can be found at the top of every page. Log in if prompted to do so and then click on 'Account Information' in the right hand menu that appears. To change your address or any address in your address book, click on the 'Address Book' link.
